Our rapidly growing company seeks a highly experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to lead the development and growth of our switchgear product line. This role requires a strong technical background, sharp commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the material handling industry and a deep understanding of power electronics and switchgear technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage the product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to launch new products and improve existing ones.
- Analyze product costs, life cycle costs, and tendering processes to maximize profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product management or service within the material handling industry.
- Deep understanding of power electronics and switchgear products, including selection and concepts.
- Proven ability to manage product costs, life cycle costs, and commercial aspects of tenders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
