Roles and ResponsibilitiesCreate Project scope , cost estimation and investment to make business proposal.➢ Review design drgs and provide feedback to design team for various parts/assy to ensure Design for Manufacturability through concurrent engineering.➢ Develop new product Tooling, Jigs & Fixtures, assy & finition line, quality gauges➢ In-charge for prototype samples development through suppliers as per Design requirement➢ Match time line of development for various reviews, tollgate points in Power & Protection new Products under development.➢ Ensure availability of Raw material, parts, sub-assy in time for the production of new range of products➢ Support on continuous product enhancements and life cycle management of all products.➢ Support to implement change management processes and achieve more than 90% completions before due dates.➢ Analyze product manufacturing issues related to Process and give resolution on time. Monitor products and production related issues and consistently achieve PMS targets.➢ Manage and control data to ensure database accuracy of over 90% consistently.➢ Samples Preparation of new products for testing/ Qualification and supervise process validation activities.➢ Work with quality, production, planning and procurement, vendor development, press shop and mould shop for increasing process efficiencies and productivity of existing Manufactured Products. Functional CompetenciesKnowledge of various manufacturing Process.➢ Awareness and updated knowledge of the industry and manufacturing technology upgrade➢ Project management and interpersonal skills➢ Knowledge of product cost & tooling estimation.➢ Data analysis and reporting skills
