We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading organization in the heavy engineering sector. This role is pivotal in driving growth and managing strategic relationships within the engine and transmission applications market. We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our techno-commercial efforts and expand our footprint among key OEMs in India.
Responsibilities:- Lead business development initiatives with a strong focus on engine and transmission applications.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing and potential OEMs to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Oversee comprehensive market mapping and segmentation to identify new business opportunities.
- Drive techno-commercial functions, including precise pricing strategies and rigorous commercial management.
- Apply deep industry knowledge regarding engine and transmission systems to offer technical solutions to clients.
- Coordinate internally to ensure sales targets are met and project requirements are aligned with commercial objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
- 12 to 20 years of progressive experience in business development and sales within the engineering or heavy industry sector.
- Solid background in seals is highly preferred.
- Expertise in techno-commercial profiles, including pricing and contract management.
- Proven ability to manage OEM accounts effectively.
- Strong communication and strategic planning skills.
