We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our CAR-T business stream in India. In this pivotal role, you will bridge state-of-the-art cellular therapy assets with clinical and biopharma stakeholders, driving innovation in point-of-care and cell factory models across India's most prominent biotech hubs.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Ownership: Take full ownership of revenue generation, qualified sales pipelines, and long-term client growth milestones across targeted Indian territories.
- End-to-End Cycle Management: Manage the full B2B commercial lifecycle, from lead generation and complex proposal modeling to high-stakes negotiations and corporate contracting.
- Strategic Ecosystem Development: Build and scale high-value relationships with biopharmaceutical firms, specialized hospitals, cancer centers, and CDMO partners.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the primary commercial interface between external clients and internal technical, quality, GxP, and manufacturing teams.
- Market Intelligence: Track market evolution within the Indian advanced therapies landscape and provide actionable insights to regional leadership.
- Operational Excellence: Support clients through complex procurement structures and GMP compliance evaluations while ensuring absolute adherence to corporate governance and regulatory SOPs.
- Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or specialized commercial degree is highly advantageous.
- Experience: 8-12 years of proven success in business development, strategic sales, or key account management within the Biotechnology, Biopharmaceuticals, or Advanced Therapies sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with CAR-T or CGT ecosystems, cell manufacturing, or CDMO commercialization is strongly preferred. Strong grasp of the Indian regulatory environment for biologics.
- Skills: Demonstrated track record of closing high-value corporate deals, orchestrating complex B2B pipelines, and negotiating with institutional stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to travel extensively across key hubs, including Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Chennai.
