​​​​​​Job Title- Buyer  Job Location  - Pune <ol><li>ABOUT ROLE:</li></ol><p> </p><ul><li>Issue inquiries (RFQ), evaluate received quotation and negotiate commercial terms.</li><li>Create Purchase Order (PO) according to budget and procedures</li><li>Review PO for accuracy such as incoterms, delivery address, technical & commercial requirements and get approval as per authority matrix</li><li>Place the PO towards suppliers and ensure effective transfer of all necessary information to suppliers and maintain subsequent revisions as applicable</li><li>Expedite Order Acknowledgements</li><li>Plan, arrange and participate in the kickoff and follow up meetings with suppliers whenever required</li><li>Co-ordination of suppliers Quality Notifications</li><li>Co-ordinate with logistics for transportation of materials</li><li>Co-ordinate with warehouse for goods receipt</li><li>Review and approve suppliers invoices</li><li>Ensure set KPI benchmark are met</li></ul><ol><li>KEY RESPONSIBILTIES / WHAT WE EXPECT</li></ol><ul><li>Be single point of contact towards assigned Supplier.</li><li>Responsible for supplier relationship management</li><li>Update Project on progress of PO through progress report as per agreed schedule</li><li>Monitor and ensure proper follow for on time delivery of material and documentation.</li><li>Understand and follow related global supply chain procedures & work instructions</li><li>Evaluate supplier performance through Supplier Performance Evaluation tool</li><li>Maintain relevant procurement information about PO in SAP</li><li>Suggest improvements in procedures & work instructions</li><li>Maintain Business Ethics and work within framework of organization core values</li><li>Complete all the mandatory and relevant e-learning programs</li><li>Undergo assigned trainings and demonstrate the implemented learnings</li></ul><ol><li>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE</li></ol><p> </p><p>State the minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent.</p><p> </p><ul><li>Good knowledge about supply chain management</li><li>Understanding of Supplier documentation and QS related processes</li><li>Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP</li><li>Self-motivated and ability to work in teams.</li><li>Understandability of Contract Management, </li><li>Good communication skills - Both verbal and written</li></ul>Good negotiation skills & quality focused.Functional Skills / Key competenciesCommunication Skills Negotiation Skills Risk management Strategic sourcing Financial awareness Relevant and total years of ExperienceTotal: Total work experience of 2-5 years in supply chain management Range:Other Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Self-Driven, Proactive</li></ul>Ability to work in Globally Distributed setting without supervision.<h3>experience</h3>5
