The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of in translating technical requirements for Special Purpose Test stands, Off the shelf products and Infra Projects to suppliers and ensuring material is delivered on timely basis with zero deviations from Equipment specifications and parametersKey Responsibilities:1. Supplier Ecosystem Management: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers who can cater to special purpose test stands and off the shelf products - Evaluate and select suppliers based on their technical capabilities, quality, and cost-effectiveness.2. Technical Expertise: - To be able to understand requirements for different business groups like Aerospace, Electrical, Digital and Mobility groups - Should be able to communicate with suppliers the required technical specifications of the equipments3. Project Management - Should be well versed with triple constraints of project manangement - Should be able to proactively undertake Risk Mitigation measures and highlight red flags during course of the project4. Stakeholder Alignment: - Ensure internal stakeholders are well informed of project progress and deliverables are well communicated to supplier - Conduct regular meetings and reviews with suppliers to monitor progress and address issues.5. Procurement & ERP System: - Implement and manage procurement practices, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and supplier compliance. - Utilize ERP systems, preferably Oracle, to manage procurement processes and supplier data.6. Quality Control: - Develop and implement quality control processes in line with industry standards, particularly in the automotive domain. - Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality requirements.7. Supplier Performance Improvement: - Conduct supplier qualification & evaluation before awarding contract to supplier - Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance.8. Project Documentation - Ensure compliance & ethical practices within supply chain - Expericenced in techno-commercial documents sign off with requestors and suppliersQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. - Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing supply chain, with a focus on CAPEX Projects - Strong knowledge of CAPEX Projects- Familiarity with procurement practices and ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle.- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in the manufacturing and a thorough understanding of manufacturing quality control aspects is highly preferred.- Resilient and proactive in interacting with suppliers to achieve optimal solutions.
