National Sales Manager, Ventilation Division

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for technical excellence and a drive for strategic growth? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to spearhead our Ventilation Division. In this pivotal role, you will hold national responsibility for managing and enhancing our sales performance, acting in alignment with both our German parent company's global strategy and our regional APAC goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day management of the National Sales team in the Ventilation sector.
  • Determine turnover and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing market trends.
  • Establish ambitious sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual quotas for regions and territories.
  • Execute national sales programs through the development of structured field sales action plans.
  • Monitor sales volume, product mix, and pricing by staying ahead of supply and demand, economic indicators, and competitor activity.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate the sales force to ensure a high professional standard and the consistent achievement of KPIs.
  • Drive performance through rigorous reviews, individual recognition, and people development.
  • Collaborate on a trust-based level with senior management to ensure the achievement of both divisional and personal targets.
  • Continuously maintain professional and technical knowledge through networking, industry workshops, and professional societies.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a technical field (ideally Electrical or Mechanical Engineering); an MBA is highly preferred.
  • Several years of proven experience managing sales teams within Indian entities that handle products requiring technical explanation.
  • Demonstrable expertise in selling to consultants and deep experience with Chillers, Air purifiers, HVAC, and Pumps.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written), in addition to native language proficiency.
  • Strong familiarity with the requirements of medium-sized companies and the nuances of the Indian business landscape.
  • Equipped with IT skills essential for modern CRM and sales management.
