This role is designed for a seasoned financial leader who has successfully managed scale (INR 500+ Crore turnover), possesses deep expertise in global trade, and has a proven track record of transitioning a company from private ownership to a successful public listing (IPO).
The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic co-pilot to the CEO and Board, leveraging strong banking relationships and investor connections to fund global expansion while ensuring absolute regulatory compliance across borders.

1. Strategic Leadership & IPO Readiness
Public Listing Transition: Lead the strategic roadmap, financial restructuring, and due diligence required to transition the organization from a private entity to a publicly listed company.
Capital Structuring: Evaluate and optimize the capital structure to support organic growth, capacity expansion, and cross-border initiatives.
Investor Relations: Act as the primary face to the financial community; manage relationships with strategic investors, institutional funds, and analysts to build long-term market confidence.
2. Corporate & Trade Finance SME
Global Treasury & Trade Finance: Oversee complex trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, pre/post-shipment credit, and structured trade structures tailored for heavy export/import operations.
Risk & Currency Management: Develop and execute robust hedging strategies to mitigate foreign exchange (FX) volatility and commodity price risks inherent in global manufacturing.
Working Capital Optimization: Drive efficiencies across the cash-to-cash cycle, inventory financing, and receivables management to maximize free cash flow.
3. Regulatory, FEMA & Global Compliance
Cross-Border Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations, Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) guidelines, and external commercial borrowings (ECB) frameworks.
ODI / WOS Management: Oversee the financial governance, compliance, and capital structuring for Overseas Direct Investments (ODI) and Wholly Owned Subsidiaries (WOS).
Governance & Audit: Maintain institutional-grade internal controls, ensuring seamless statutory audits, tax compliance (domestic and international transfer pricing), and rigorous corporate governance.
4. Banking & Stakeholder Relations
Consortium & Banking Relations: Leverage and expand existing connections with top-tier commercial banks, development financial institutions, and investment bankers to secure favorable credit lines and working capital limits.
Board & Stakeholder Reporting: Deliver transparent, high-impact financial narratives, forecasts, and risk assessments to the Board of Directors and promoters.
Must-Have Experience:
Scale: Proven experience managing the financial ecosystem of an organization with an annual turnover of INR 500+ Crore or greater.
Industry Focus: Deep roots in the Manufacturing sector with a thorough understanding of cost accounting, supply chain finance, and international trade dynamics (Export/Import).
The IPO Track Record: Direct, hands-on experience navigating a company through the Private-to-Public listing process.
Regulatory Mastery: Subject Matter Expertise in FEMA, RBI regulations, and ODI/WOS compliance structures.
Education & Professional Credentials:
Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly preferred.
Experience Level: 20+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, within a global/export-oriented setup.
