We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CSSD Technician to join our healthcare team in Pune City, Maharashtra. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and infection control within the Central Sterile Supply Department.
Responsibilities:- Perform sterilizer validation processes to ensure the efficacy of sterilization equipment.
- Operate and maintain a variety of sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and low-temperature sterilizers.
- Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments and medical devices according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of all sterilization processes, including load contents, cycle parameters, and test results.
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere strictly to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of microorganisms.
- Manage inventory of sterile supplies and reorder items as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in CSSD.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new sterilization procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the availability of sterile supplies.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of {{}} years of experience working as a CSSD Technician.
- Proven expertise in sterilizer validation.
