Responsibilities:
▪ Drive the design, development, and implementation of finance transformation initiatives across the organization, focusing on process improvement, automation, and system enhancements.
▪ Responsible for finance domain processes such as R2R, P2P, support for Q2C from F&A perspective.
▪ Partner with key stakeholders in Finance, IT, and other relevant functions to identify areas for transformation and develop comprehensive strategies to address them.
▪ Lead the implementation of new financial systems and tools, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and systems.
▪ Support change management efforts, including communication, training, and stakeholder management, to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
▪ Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of finance transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities for further improvement and driving continuous improvement.
▪ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure effective collaboration and alignment on finance transformation efforts.
▪ Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in finance transformation, ensuring it remains at the forefront of innovation.
Qualification:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
▪ An advanced degree such as MBA, CA or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
▪ Must have a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience finance transformation, process improvement, and financial systems implementation.
▪ Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, practices, and systems.
▪ Proven experience in leading large-scale finance transformation projects, including change management and system implementation.
▪ Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving actionable insights and solutions.
▪ Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
▪ Adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Competencies:
▪ Financial acumen: A strong understanding of financial principles, accounting, and financial reporting is essential for finance transformation professionals. This includes
knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
▪ Process improvement: Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes, and monitoring their effectiveness. This includes
knowledge of process mapping, Lean Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
▪ Project management: The ability to plan, organize, and manage resources to achieve specific goals within a given timeframe. This includes knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
▪ Change management: Understanding the human side of change and being able to lead and manage organizational change. This includes knowledge of change management principles, communication strategies, and stakeholder management.
