RoleRole & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive EHS programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. You will lead the team in identifying and mitigating safety hazards, conducting regular inspections, and providing training to employees. This is a key leadership role with a significant impact on the company's safety culture.
Main tasks include
- Lead the development and implementation of EHS programs aligned with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on EHS performance.
- Collaborate with management to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of operations.
- Stay current on relevant EHS regulations and best practices.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS, preferably within the cement manufacturing industry.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., safety engineering, environmental science).
- Proven ability to develop and implement EHS programs.
- Strong knowledge of relevant Indian EHS regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in conducting safety training and audits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
