Role Description
Lead and mentor a team of electrical and instrumentation designers and engineers.
Develop and review design plans, specifications, and schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems.
Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and identify project requirement.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process, mechanical, and civil disciplines.
Design and specify electrical and instrumentation systems, including:
Detailed design & engineering for electrical system – single line diagrams, cable schedule, junction box schedule, cable routing, earthing and lighting layout, technical specifications, electrical Load schedule, cable sizing calculation, lighting calculation, earthing calculations & lightning calculations and electrical bulk MTO
Detailed design & engineering for control & Instrumentation system - Instrument Index, Instrument Data Sheets, Instrument Hook-up Drawings, Instrument Set-point Schedule, Instrument I/O Schedule, Junction Box Schedule, Junction Box Wiring Diagram, DCS/PLC Termination Diagram, logic diagram, Tray routing Layouts and Instrument Bulk MTO
Ensure design aligns with project requirements, including safety, operability, and maintainability.
Manage and review design deliverables, including drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for electrical and instrumentation procurement and installation.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME etc).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 25+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design for EPCC projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, industry standards, and regulations.
Experience with design software and tools, such as ETAP, SKM, and AutoCAD.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
