Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, HT/LT panels, motors, and compressors.
Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve faults in a timely manner.
Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance work comply with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain, inspect, and test earthing systems and electrical grounding infrastructure.
Support utilities maintenance activities related to electrical systems across the plant.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, and reports.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, minimizing downtime.
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs within the maintenance team.
Key Requirements:
Hands-on experience with:
Transformers (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting)
HT/LT panels
Electric motors and motor control systems
Air compressors
Earthing systems and electrical safety practices
Basic knowledge of:
Electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Preventive and predictive maintenance practices
Utility systems in a plant environment (lighting, power distribution, etc.)
Must be willing to perform hands-on work in electrical maintenance environments
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Understanding of safety protocols related to electrical systems
Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance
