Job Description:
We are hiring an Electrical Support Engineer for our site located in Sindri, Jharkhand. The candidate will work under a third-party contract and will be responsible for providing electrical support for cement industry projects, including erection, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute electrical erection, installation, and commissioning activities for cement plant projects.
Ensure proper installation of electrical panels, motors, MCCs, VFDs, switchgears, and cabling.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
Work closely with project engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
Maintain project documentation including test reports, installation checklists, and commissioning protocols.
Adhere to safety and quality standards on-site.
Provide technical support during startup and post-commissioning activities.
Candidate Requirements:
Diploma or B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in the cement industry or heavy industrial projects.
Strong knowledge in electrical systems used in cement plants.
Ability to read electrical drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), and cable schedules.
Good understanding of industry safety practices and standards.
Should be able to work independently under minimal supervision.
Willingness to be stationed at Sindri, Jharkhand.
