Dear Candidate We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimation Engineer to support the with end-to-end proposal and estimation activities.The role involves coordination with internal and external stakeholders to prepare and submit accurate cost estimates, respond to clarifications, and manage documentation throughout the bid lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor RFQ Handling: Initiate and manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes with vendors to obtain pricing and technical details.
- Pre-Bid & Post-Bid Clarifications: Participate in technical and commercial clarifications, coordinating witstakeholders to resolve queries from clients and vendors.
- Proposal Preparation and Submission: Prepare, review, and submit proposals ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal standards.
- Team Coordination: Share draft proposals for internal review, incorporate feedback, and finalize documentation.
- Rework Management: Address rework requests and revisions as per client or team feedback in a timely and efficient manner.
- Estimation Activities: Work on technical and cost estimation based on project scope, RFQ documents, and engineering inputs.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
- Number of vendor RFQs processed
- Number of clarifications (pre-bid and post-bid) addressed
- Proposals submitted (individual and for team review)
- Rework tasks handled
- Estimation tasks in progress and completed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in estimation, proposal, or tendering roles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and estimating tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
Prefered Skills
- Familiarity with industrial or infrastructure project bids
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to costing, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation
