Job Summary:
This role is responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processes, vendor management, and support for inventory control and cost analysis. The individual must ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and collaboration with procurement and store teams to resolve discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
- Process and manage all material invoice bills, service bills, C&F charges, manpower bills, and import bills on a daily basis.
- Perform comprehensive vendor reconciliations.
- Manage weekly Gate Entry reconciliations with Purchase and Store teams to ensure correct material/service receipts.
2. Inventory & Cost Control
- Support finalization of PPV (Purchase Price Variance) and Rolling Forecast process at month-end.
- Participate in external inventory physical audits for Spares, Finished Goods (FG), and Raw Materials (RM).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting with 4+ yrs of experience.
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance (1–2 years) or Semi-qualified CA/CMA with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in accounts payable, vendor reconciliations, and cost control.
- Familiarity with SAP FI/CO preferred; MS – excel skill is required.
- Ability to handle large volumes of data, ensure accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
