Roles & Responsibilities
* Prepare catalysts/adsorbent materials using different techniques such as precipitation, sol-gel synthesis,
hydrothermal synthesis, impregnation, etc.
* Characterize these materials using different techniques such as N2 physisorption, pulse chemisorption,
XRD, TG/DSC, and temperature programmed studies (TPD/TPR/TPO), etc.
* Carry out catalyst performance evaluation and testing to support ongoing development projects.
* Maintain proper records of daily experimental work and periodically report these to the respective
stakeholders.
* Maintain proper upkeep of various equipment/instruments used in day-to-day activities.
* Maintain 5S/Safety aspects in R&D.
* Co-ordinate with Purchase/Stores for procuring chemicals/cylinders/spare parts required for day-to-day
activities.
Productivity Date
This new hire needs to be fully productive after 6 months of training into their new role.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following professional assets:
Education
* Degree Level: Master's (M.Sc.)
* Field of Study: Inorganic Chemistry / Material Science
Previous Experience
* 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in catalysis.
Domain Knowledge
* Sound knowledge in the area of catalysis.Competencies / Skills
