The main responsibilities will cover various legal aspects concerning our renewable energy<br />(solar/wind/Hydrogen) activities. Amongst others, the following responsibilities apply to this position:<br /> Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities.<br /> Advising on renewable energy/power generation regulatory framework with a proper<br />understanding of the main terms and conditions of IPP grants, Joint Bidding Agreements<br />(JBAs), Loan Agreements, Construction and Supply Agreements, EPC Agreements and other<br />typical contracts internationally used by the renewable energy industry.<br /> Advise and represent the Company in courts, before government agencies, and in private<br />legal matters.<br /> Drafting and negotiating contracts as per the needs of the business and the company<br /> Advising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the<br />company, including but not limited to corporate matters, procurement, safety, security,<br />insurance and sustainability issues.<br /> Co-ordinate and complete the Due-Diligence (DD)/Title Search Reports (TSR) requirements<br /> Represent the department as required in liaison with the business units<br /> Ethics and Compliance and governance services.<br /> To anticipate and manage the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the business<br />strategy and operations.<br /> To secure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations.<br /> To pro-actively create and maintain awareness among business leaders for (compliance with)<br />relevant laws and regulations.<br /> Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
