Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the pr
eparation of the steel requirement chart based on the production plan and
communicatin
g with the Purchase department for timely procurement of the required
materials
• Support the iss
uance of materials and items to the Fabrication Shop as per the planned
schedule and e
nsuring that the required materials are available as per the fabrication
load chart
• Assist in coord
inating with the Inspection Department for material clearance by outside
Inspection Age
ncies, if required
• Provide suppo
rt in the preparation of the Fabrication Load Chart and Fabrication Shop
Plan and ensur
ing the timely execution of fabrication projects
• Provide suppo
rt in issuing CNC programs to the MPS section and Steel transfer program-
cum-pick slip
with plate layouts to ensure accurate and efficient production
• Assist in issuin
g Route Cards to the Shop and monitoring compliance with the
documented Q
uality System
• Provide suppo
rt in verifying and controlling the issue of structural steel to Shop &
Vendors as per
the list for Sale Order from JDE
• Support the co
ordination and preparation of documents for the disposal of scrap
generated regu
larly
• Assist in prepa
ring the monthly physical tonnage report and ensuring accurate tracking
of production
metrics
• Collaborate wi
th the Design and QA teams to support compliance with design
specifications
and quality standards
• Support in the
utilization of items from old stock and ensuring the efficient

Knowledge and Skills
Education
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setup
