Job Summary:<br />The Month-End Controller is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end month-end close process globally,<br />ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with group accounting policies. This role acts as a keyliaison between the Shared Service Centre (SSC), regional controllership teams, and group to deliver high-<br />quality financial results and to continuously improve the efficiency of the closing process. Responsibilities:<br />• Manage the month-end calendar, ensuring transparency, adherence to deadlines, and proactiveresolution of bottlenecks.<br />• Lead and oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all activities are completed accuratelyand on time.<br />• Ensure consistency in ways of working and roust control of trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet positions.<br />• Collaborate with BPO partners and regional accounting teams to ensure effective execution of closing activities.<br />• Identify, report, and support remediation of control or process issues identified during the close cycle.<br />• Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in the month-end close process to reduce cycle time and increase accuracy.<br />• Support group audit and compliance requirements, ensuring documentation and evidence are complete and readily available.<br />• Prepare and present closing KPIs and performance metrics to management, highlighting improvement opportunities.<br />Requirements:<br />• Qualification CA or advanced level in career.<br />• Month End Process Experience<br />• Experience in similar role for at least 12+ years.<br />• SAP or major ERP experience including<br />• Experience managing BPO organisation in delivering month end process<br />• Soft skills required:<br />• Good organizational skills, ability to manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met.<br />• Strong presentation skills.<br />• Problem solving and a growth and enterprise mindset.<br />• Continuous Improvement Experience. Requirements: • Professional qualification CA or equivalent. • Minimum 12+ years of experience in accounting or controllership, with significant exposure to intercompany accounting and reconciliations. • Strong understanding of IFRS, transfer pricing concepts, and group reporting principles. • Experience working with SAP or other major ERP systems; familiarity with intercompany modules or reconciliation tools (e.g., ARCS, BlackLine) is an advantage. • Proven experience in managing cross-entity relationships within a Shared Service or multinational environment.• Good organizational skills, ability to manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met. • Strong presentation skills. • Problem solving and a growth and enterprise mindset. • Continuous Improvement Experience, Challenging status quo, • Stakeholder Management. • Analytical Thinking. • Thrive on working in a highly collaborative and diverse culture.
