Key Responsibilities

The Fire Protection Engineer's duties include:

• Understanding client requirements and applicable regulations in France.
• Performing fire risk identification and hazardous area classification.
• Defining a building's fire protection philosophy (active/passive).
• Designing fire detection and fire protection systems.
• Collaborating with 2D and 3D CAD Designers, as well as other engineers.
• Responding to client questions and advising on fire protection optimizations

Qualifications and Experience

A candidate for this position should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in fire engineering, specifically in fire protection and extinguishing. Strong conventional and nuclear safety culture is a key characteristic.
