1. Finalize the C&I Department Execution Strategy at the start of all Projects & Proposals falling under various SBUs (OGH, P&M, T&D & ATF) within E&I SBG. Take Ownership and be Accountable for all C&I Engineering activities performed either in-house and/or by outsourced parties which includes engineering activities by Detailed Engineering Partner.
2. Lead, motivate and direct a team of C&I Managers, & Engineers.
3. Update manpower deployment plan for C&I, raise recruitment requests and perform recruitment as per approved plan.
4. Ensure the execution of all projects on time and within the budget.
5. Analyse the project requirements with respect to C&I Engineering and identify the critical issues & mitigation for same by conducting regular review meetings with the respective projects team.
6. Liaison with customers, PMC, sub-Contractors, Consultants, discipline Leads/ HODs, Higher management, HO team and all other stake holders for critical issues.
7. Be present in Top Management meetings and participate in review of MIS results.
8. Execute Post project Analysis.
9. Prepare and implement training plan for Department professionals.
10. Prepare and update Quality Management Systems for C&I Engineering. Accountable/Responsible for Quality of C&I Engineering deliverables both during Projects and Proposals.
11. Develop C&I Engineering Team to perform and review of both in-house and outsourced Detailed Engineering Activities.
