Job Title: Director Finance & Finance Shared Services
Location: Bangalore, India
Core responsibilities:
Financial Management
- Develop and deliver the organization's financial management and/or control systems
- Lead and coordinate the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols across the business to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice
- Partner with the global team in functional strategy formation for the in-scope organization
- Take responsibility for setting and managing area budgets so they align with organizational strategy
- Responsible to review budgets, and forecasts process to support the company's overall goals
- Design, develop, and deliver the compliance strategy to ensure the organization adheres to regulatory standards
- Ensure identification, assessment & timely mitigation of possible compliance financial risks, developing and implementing risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain high quality reporting & audit standard
- Providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making, collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other key stakeholders
Shared Services Management
- Scale, stabilize & optimize the Bangalore shared services business
- Design & deploy the finance shared services vision & strategy for the in-scope organization
- Design & implement an optimal service delivery model for all financial processes in scope, including but not limited to AP, Inventory, GL, Payroll, etc.
- Understand & implement business use cases with measurable results, efficiency and cost optimization
- Ensure governance around process documentation & service delivery standards
- Oversee the processes while ensuring process adherence, quality & compliance
- Design, maintain & improve operational excellence & delivery standard for the shared services team
- Lead process improvement, automation & innovation for the shared services team
- Establish, optimize & stabilize various financial processes
- Design a high standard delivery model, clear SLAs, knowledge transfer model, and training & process transition structures to ensure seamless operations
- Design & lead process transitions as required
- Collaborate cross functionally & across shores with relevant stakeholder & establish strong partnerships for seamless process & knowledge
- Drive strategic workforce planning, aligning talent needs with long-term capacity and business goals
Skills and Experience:
- 15+ years of leadership experience with 5+ in managing shared services of reasonable size
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to design & manage control environments
- Performance driven & process improvement mindset

- Strong leader of people and has experience leading large team
