Mechanical
- Responsible for maintenance of the plant and machinery, including the air-conditioning plant, Indoor air quality (IAQ) system, Hot water generator, Monitoring system, panels, pool plant, STP, Fresh Air Purification system(FAPS), primary and secondary pumps, and hot water units.
- Manage the Building Management System (BMS),
- Manage and monitor the air quality system and dashboard
- Manage the entire HVAC system for the campus, including on-campus apartments.
- Track maintenance work orders, work completed, and maintenance/repair costs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the SOP, planned preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance schedules and recommend plans for improving physical facilities on a timely basis
- Conduct regular inspections of the plant rooms and site infrastructure
- Analyse and report on utility consumption every month, including implementing and administering an energy conservation program
- Explain and interpret instruction, standing orders, blueprints, and other guides and directives, and provide on-the-job instruction as necessary
- Maintain records and prepare reports on various aspects of utility operations
- Facilitate an annual health and safety audit with the internal Facilities group (Head of Facilities and Special Projects, Engineer and ensure follow-up and compliance
- Conduct training as per Engineering SOPs
- Forecast labour and material needs to prepare the FMO budget, and advise the Head of Facilities and Special Projects of changes to buildings/maintenance services that could affect the budget:
- Make recommendations regarding the life-cycle replacement of fixed and movable assets
- Review/verify bills, overtime reports, and daily progress reports for the facilities.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current rates and supply of services and commodities in the local market
- Control the inventory of all maintenance supplies, spares, tools, and equipment:
- Ensure adequate maintenance supplies and spares are available to staff and that routine orders are placed on time
- Prepare necessary lists of spare parts and tools required for various systems and their inventory
- Prepare and implement procedures to control the use and disbursement of maintenance supplies
- Maintain an up-to-date record of the conditions of all equipment/holdings/supplies;
- Monitor the performance of outsourced vendor(s) by providing periodic input and recommendations to the Head of Facilities and Special Projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned, but not limited to the following:
- Ensure the AMC for mechanical jobs is in place and make appropriate recommendations to the Head of Facilities and Special Projects.
- Assist in preparing five-year plans for major improvement projects/upgrades
- Assist in selecting architects and contractors for new construction projects
- Prepare BOQs for internal facilities projects, as needed.
- Manage and maintain a complete Air Quality system, including the school fleet and buses.

- Responsible for the Campus Master Plan
Sustainability & Energy Efficiency Provide input on:-
- Energy-efficient equipment
- Renewable integration(heat recovery, VFDs, solar)
- Water Conservation and Reuse System(STP)
Phasing and Operational Continuity and Inputs
- Ensure construction doesn’t disturb the existing operation
- Check and guide on the utility routes
- Advice on equipment selection, placement, shafts and plant room
- Flag any abnormality
Compliance & Safety
- Coordinate with architects and consultants to ensure compliance as needed.
Handover - Ensure the handover of:
- Operation and maintenance manuals
- Warranties and AMC structures
- Supervision: This position will be responsible for the supervision and evaluation of contractual staff to run technical services.
