Are you a strategic leader with a passion for building long-term partnerships within the EPC and national contractor landscape? We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will own relationships with our most significant accounts, including EPC majors and corporate clients, ensuring deep market penetration and commercial success. You will act as the primary bridge between our organization and the national contractor ecosystem, ensuring seamless collaboration across regions.
Responsibilities:- Manage a dedicated portfolio of 6-10 named accounts, targeting ₹3-5 crore in annualised revenue.
- Negotiate, finalize, and maintain complex rate contracts, framework agreements, and multi-site commercial terms.
- Drive business growth within the national contractor ecosystem (e.g., L&T, Tata Projects, Afcons, Shapoorji Pallonji and peers) by identifying opportunities in new projects, zones, and business units.
- Maintain full ownership of receivables health, including reconciliation, resolving invoice disputes, and effective escalation management.
- Coordinate servicing requirements with regional Area Managers while conducting quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders.
- Proactively manage and expand a live account intelligence file, tracking contract renewal dates, decision-maker maps, and competitor activity.
- Achievement of named-account revenue against established targets.
- Quarter-on-quarter growth in share-of-wallet per account.
- Timely completion of all rate-contract renewals.
- Maintenance of account-level Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and unbilled value within agreed thresholds.
- Consistent cross-region site additions on a quarterly basis.
- 5-8 years of proven experience in sales targeting large EPC or national contractor accounts.
- Advanced skills in contract negotiation and commercial structuring, with expertise in managing relationships across procurement, projects, and finance.
- Professional capability to present at the CXO and Board levels.
- Track record of successfully managing receivables and financial accountability.
- Strong existing network within the EPC and national contractor segment is highly valued.
- A central role in driving strategy for our most important client relationships.
