Job Summary:
Own end-to-end Supply Chain Management execution across all Client network assets, overseeing stores operations, inventory management, inter-facility stock movement, and last-mile fulfilment to hospitals, ambulatory care centres (AMCs), clinics, and home care services. Lead a distributed operations team to ensure product availability, OT readiness, inventory accuracy, and uninterrupted supply continuity across the client network.
Key Responsibilities
Network Inventory Management
Manage inventory levels across all facilities, ensuring minimum stock thresholds, reorder points, and service-level requirements are maintained at all times.
Monitor daily stock positions across hospitals, AMCs, clinics, and home care operations, identifying shortages, excess inventory, slow-moving stock, and expiry risks.
Coordinate inter-facility stock transfers to address local shortages and optimize inventory utilization while minimizing unnecessary procurement.
Conduct monthly inventory reviews across the network, reporting stock coverage, consumption trends, inventory turns, and performance against targets.
Ensure inventory optimization initiatives are implemented to improve stock availability and working capital efficiency.
Stores Operations Governance
Oversee stores operations across all facilities, ensuring adherence to standardized operating procedures, documentation standards, and inventory controls.
Manage goods receipt, stock requisition, stock issue, and inventory transaction processes to ensure accurate and timely system updates.
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures covering inventory receipt, storage, stock rotation, expiry management, handling, and waste reduction.
Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation exercises, investigating and resolving discrepancies between physical and system stock.
Ensure stores operations remain audit-ready and compliant with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
OT & ; Critical Care Supply Readiness
Ensure availability and readiness of operating theatre supplies, surgical consumables, implants, and critical- care inventory across all clinical facilities.
Coordinate with clinical and surgical teams to align inventory availability with procedure schedules and patient demand.
Monitor and resolve OT supply failures, stock-outs, and near-miss incidents through root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Collaborate with Procurement and Demand Planning teams to ensure replenishment plans support surgical schedules and critical care requirements.
Maintain visibility of critical inventory risks and proactively implement mitigation measures.
Logistics & Distribution Management
Manage inbound logistics and distribution activities from central warehouses and suppliers to all client facilities.
Oversee transportation vendors, delivery scheduling, route planning, and last-mile fulfilment activities.
Ensure deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with agreed service standards.
Align distribution schedules with facility demand, storage capacity, and operational requirements.
Track logistics KPIs including on-time delivery, order accuracy, delivery lead times, and damage rates, reporting performance regularly to leadership.
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop stores, inventory, and logistics teams across the network.
Establish KRAs, performance metrics, and accountability standards for all team members.
Conduct regular inventory reviews, reconciliation exercises, operational audits, and capability assessments.
Build organizational capability in inventory management, stores operations, SCM systems, and logistics execution through structured coaching and training.
Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
