Key Responsibilities – Regional Logistics Executive
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations across multiple CFAs in North & East regions, ensuring seamless supply chain execution.
- Plan and coordinate dispatches with sales teams to ensure timely product availability as per business requirements.
- Monitor and improve OTIF (On Time In Full) performance by implementing corrective actions in coordination with CFA teams.
- Optimize secondary transportation and freight costs through effective route planning, load optimization, and negotiation for non-lane freight.
- Prepare and share logistics MIS reports, covering dispatch status, claims, freight costs, and inventory updates.
- Provide updated stock sheets to business teams for accurate inventory visibility and ageing analysis.
- Coordinate with business and CNF teams for multi-location IGST billing, ensuring cost optimization and timely approvals.
- Manage vendor relationships, including transporter negotiations, rate finalization (with RLM support), and performance monitoring.
- Drive cost savings by negotiating vendor contracts, including warehouse rent revisions.
- Ensure compliance with E-way bill, GST regulations, and all dispatch-related documentation.
- Support billing validation, freight provisioning, and cost allocation processes.
- Handle SAP MM operations, including master data management and pricing validation.
- Collaborate with IT, Plant, Regional, and Taxation teams for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of system changes and enhancements.
- Conduct regular operational reviews with CFA partners to improve efficiency, service levels, and compliance.
- Manage reverse logistics, including defective pickups and claims settlement processes.
- Support onboarding of new warehouses, ensuring operational readiness and process alignment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics systems and processes.
- Monitor inventory ageing and initiate redistribution of slow/non-moving stock.
- Lead warehouse audits and ensure adherence to internal and statutory compliance standards.
- Provide training to CFA teams for new process implementation and system updates.
