The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure highly efficient, prompt, and cost-effective supply chain operations. This pivotal role drives inventory management, transportation strategies, warehouse operations, supplier coordination, and continuous compliance with both company standards and regulatory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operations Management: Plan, direct, and optimize end-to-end logistics, shipping, and transportation frameworks.
- Distribution Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure zero lag and consistent on- time delivery across the nationwide distribution network.
- Warehouse & Inventory Control: Oversee high-capacity warehouse hubs, managing rigorous inventory counts, stock flow accuracy, and material preservation.
- Financial Efficiency: Strategically monitor and analyze logistics costs to identify and execute cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Vendor Relations: Develop and sustain collaborative partnerships with freight carriers, custom brokers, and third-party logistics (3PL) suppliers.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure total compliance with international trade laws, local transit rules, customs protocols, and warehouse safety standards.
- Performance Reporting: Track key logistics metrics (KPIs) and compile detailed operational summaries to present to the executive management team.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse teams, loaders, and logistics supervisors to maintain a high level of operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Min 8 years of proven experience in industrial logistics or warehouse leadership.
- Strong exposure to handling ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Expertise in Excel and structured data analysis.
