Role and Responsibilities
As head of the implementation team, the person shall play a very critical role of Customer on boarding to our product suit. The person will be handling from Requirement Phase to Production Phase E2E during a Customer on boarding life cycle and all communication (except commercials). The implementation head will be closely working with product team as well as pre-sales team for the success of the business and successful Customer acquisition. He is also responsible for managing partner training, managing the implementation team and L1/L2 support for the partners. Here are detailed pointers:
1. Responsible for Customer engagement from Requirement phase to Production Phase.
2. Work closely with Pre-sales & Product Team to build required features as market demand.
3. Work closely with development & implementation partners as consultant for the success of the Customer where it is channel partner led acquisition.
4. The person should ensure:
• Train channel partner on the product suits and have feature knowledge of the product suit.
• Fit-Gap Analysis with Gap Classification & develop requirement for the product suit.

• Agree the scope of implementation with E2E process flow

• Managing the dedicated team ensures streamlined implementation, reducing errors and inefficiencies.
• Proper configuration and testing will improve inventory tracking, reducing stock discrepancies.
• Handling L1 & L2 queries on behalf of the partners at the initial phase of the rollout and training the partner personnel to handle such tickets by itself.
• Optimizing & managing the dedicated team to handle Customers and on boarding.
• The head can proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with software integration.
• Working with SMEs in various functions to ensure WMS is integrated with ERP, procurement, and logistics systems and market available hardware.
Qualifications
Experience and Skill Set
We are looking for an experienced Logistics / Warehouse Digital Implementation Head with Manufacturing knowledge. The head must have 8 to 12 years of hands- on experience in deploying digital solutions with process optimization and completing at least 10 to 15 full-cycle implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse processes, manufacturing processes, Logistics flow of different industries, good hardware knowledge (including partners), system integration with ERPs. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation team, IT teams, and end-users to drive operational efficiency.
1. Process Optimization & Business Consulting: • Work closely with warehouse operations teams to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement. • Design warehouse workflows and optimize inventory management to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Provide recommendations for warehouse automation, barcode scanning, and RF technology integration, PLC integration.
2. Digital Solution Development & ERP integration: • Lead and execute end-to-end digital solution or product development, ERP integration, understanding level of integration of Digital solution with ERP systems and strategies various testing & validation method to align with Customer requirement. • Perform Fit-Gap analysis and recommend best practices to align feature development of the product suite. • Configure warehouse processes such as inbound/outbound logistics, put away, picking strategies, inventory control, and storage management. • Closely work with SAP or other ERP consultant and direct the implementation team for execution.
3. Data Migration, Testing & System Validation: • Define and execute data migration strategies for master and transactional data. • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance validation. • Identify and resolve system defects and ensure a seamless transition to the new system.
4. Training & Change Management: • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for implementation and solution partners. • Guide users through the transition and ensure smooth adoption of new processes. • Provide ongoing post-go-live support and troubleshooting.
5. Post-Implementation Support & Enhancements: • Ensure system stability post-go-live and provide hyper care support. • Create mechanism for partner support for L1 & L2 till partner is matured to self-manage Customer issues. • Continuously monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed. • Collaborate with IT and business teams for future upgrades and process improvements.
6. Leadership skills: • Experience in managing a team of 4-8 members for Customer facing activities from Requirement phase to delivery phase. • Optimize and direct team members for Customer handling. • Excellent skill in guiding team for smooth execution of the digital solutions. • Prioritizing features and direct product owners for execution for quicker delivery to Customer. • Ensuring all communication as per highest standard and responsible for Customer satisfaction of the solution.
