Chartered Accountant - Internal Audit
The role involves conducting audits of operational, financial, and compliance activities to ensure the company adheres to internal policies, industry regulations, and global best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute internal audit engagements across departments, including manufacturing, sales, supply chain, and corporate functions.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Analyze business processes to identify risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow-up on corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess compliance with internal policies, SOX controls (if applicable), and external regulations.
Support investigations related to fraud, misconduct, or regulatory breaches.
Participate in enterprise risk assessments and contribute to the annual audit plan.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Company policies, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management (preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector)
Professional certification preferred: CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent
Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), auditing standards, and risk assessment methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, or Power BI)
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a global audit team
Fluency in English required; Korean or other language skills are a plus
Preferred Attributes:
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Knowledge of SOX compliance, ESG auditing, or risks
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20–30%)
