The Material analyst role focuses on aerial work platform products. We want you to utilize our global leverage to
regionally achieve the best value in cost, quality, reliability, service, and support. This role will work directly with
Global and Local supply base, co-ordinate cross functional relationships, including product development/
engineering, materials team, warehouse, operations & finance.
Responsibilities:
 Issue material forecast accordingly analyzing information from all our databases (ERP/Materials Tools)
 Responsible for data integrity and alignment within MRP.
 Analyze BOMs and confirm confirmation on systems (ERP/TMS & PFEP)
 Primary contact to Material Buyers, Engineering Changes and Design team.
 Control breakpoints implementations date for incoming engineering changes.
 Provides analysis on build rate increases or decreases.
 Answers questions for internal parties as it relates to demand, BOMs, Materials Tools.
 Follow up on weekly/daily updates to our Painting, Welding and Assembly process.
 Support on new program/process implementations activities

Skill & Competencies:
 Effective communication among departments, point of contact between Design & Sourcing to request
information and with Materials and Production to provide accurate information.
 Knowledge on engineering change implementation.
 Strong analytical and statistical experience.
 Self-directed, capable of taking decisions.
 Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with MRP structure and functionality.
 Proven inventory distribution and product flow knowledge.
 Excellent Microsoft Office skills, mid-advanced (search formulas, pivot tables) capable of develop tools to
present summarized.
 Commodity specific skillset and experience in automobile materials like metal fabrication, forging & castings.
 Strong analytical and statistical experience.
 Supplier negotiation, cost analysis, zero base costing
 Self-directed, capable of taking decisions.
 Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with MRP structure and functionality.
 Proven inventory distribution and product flow knowledge.
 Excellent Microsoft Office skills, mid-advanced (search formulas, pivot tables) capable of developing tools to

 Experience with Oracle and access or other SQL applications is a plus.
 Organized and capable of dealing with high volume of interactions with a broad cross-section of the company.

Qualifications & Experience
 Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering
 Demonstrate effective leadership in both tactical & operational decision making.
 Experience of handling Supplier development of relevant commodities and products.
 Min 5-6 years of Industry experience
Travel:
 Must be willing and able to travel locally and globally (up to 30% raising upto 75% during periods of
challenging Business environments).
