MPS Mechanical Designer MPS Static Equipment
Produce high quality 3D model and 2D detail drawings as per the industry and safety standards with minimum Key Indicators
guidance. Keep abreast of Industry codes, standards and guidelines related to static equipment. Meet project
scope of work and schedule. Collaborate with inter disciplines and provide required deliverables pertaining to
project/proposal.

• Mechanical Engineering utilization
• Mechanical Engineering deliverables on time delivery (OTD)
• Mechanical Engineering contractual non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Mechanical Engineering design change notification (EDNC) entrees and MOCs
• Service Quality (SQ’s)
• The Mechanical Designer is expected to have highly qualified on fabrication concepts of Offshore and Onshore Interfaces Prior Experience/Expertise Required

• Conceptualize plans, details and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements.
• Responsible for checking 3D model, vessel drawings and sub vendor’s fabrication drawings in-line with vessel
calculation reports.
• Communicate and interface with other engineering disciplines for outline drawing creation, internal detail
drawing creation and Inter Discipline Checking.
• Participate in 3D model review as required.
• Assist in developing SLB Standards for proprietary products.
• Should be conversant to work in both metric and imperial units.
• Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfill project and business needs.
• Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the Company and facility
HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.
• When delegated, must be able to complete the tasks with Company and Client standards and quality
requirements
Activities
Education Qualification:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
• 5 to 7 years relevant experience within the
Oil and Gas industry
• Prior experience in EPC organization or Static
equipment manufacturing company
Expertise:
• Thorough understanding of static equipment
design and construction
• Proven experience in handling Heat
Exchangers, Tanks and pressure vessels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• In depth knowledge of industry international
codes and standards such as ASME, API,
TEMA, WRC, ANSI, PIP, ISO.
