<p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p><p>The Engineer will support the goals and programs established by the management team. <p>Position name – Manager - Mechanical Design (individual contributor)</p><p>Job Description – </p><ul><li>Study of the project and its feasibility through the various inputs received from the project management team.</li><li>Feasibility of the new concept and executing various engineering calculations (stress analysis, torque calculation, gear calculations etc.)</li><li>BOM creation and material selection for costing</li><li>Preparing and delivering 2D drawings and 3D models as per the project requirements</li><li>Design sheet metals, fabrication parts, components etc. as per the concept</li><li>Value Addition / Engineering (VA/VE) to reduce cost.</li><li>Study of the machines and designing new / modify existing concepts as per the customer requirements.</li><li>Designing the machine considering various aspects of manufacturability, serviceability, compatibility, feasibility etc.</li><li>Proper documentation of the entire process - ECN</li><li>Development of the complete prototype and its trouble shooting</li></ul><p>Preferred candidate profile: </p><ul><li>Mechanical design with solid modelling using SolidWorks and detailed design</li><li>SAP working (BOM upload, ECN)</li><li>Should be proficient with 3D design software like SolidWorks, NX etc.</li><li>8+ years in designing and costing in a machine manufacturing company</li><li>CAE Simulation experience will be preferred</li><li>Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis).</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, casting).</li><li>Understanding of material selection (MS, SS, Plastics) and heat treatment processes.</li></ul><p> Qualifications:</p><p> Education: B.Tech.
