Job Title<br />Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Packaging Development<br />Location<br />Gurgaon and Haridwar, Uttarakhand<br />Industry<br />Private Label : Colour Cosmetics Manufacturing<br />______________<br />Role Overview<br />Responsible for development, testing, approval, and documentation of primary,<br />secondary, and tertiary packaging for multiple leading brands, ensuring quality, and<br />compliance at plant level.<br />______________<br />Key Responsibilities<br />•            Validation of primary packaging.<br />•            Development of secondary & tertiary packaging.<br />•            Manage artwork development, proofing and approvals with vendors.<br />•            Execute and document packaging tests.<br />•            Support packaging trials and issue resolution on manufacturing lines<br />•            Vendor Management.<br />•            Coordinate with QA, production, SCM, and vendors for timely launches and<br />approvals<br />______________<br />Qualifications & Experience<br />•            Degree / Diploma in Packaging Technology from IIP<br />•            4–6 years of experience in colour cosmetics / skin care packaging development<br />& testing<br />•            Prior experience in a manufacturing / plant environment<br />•            Exposure to multi-client / private label packaging management preferred______________<br />Key Skills<br />•            Strong understanding of cosmetic packaging materials & testing<br />•            Artwork and print development knowledge<br />•            Documentation and audit readiness<br />•            Plant-oriented problem solving<h3>experience</h3>8

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering<br /> 0–3 years of experience in packaging design or engineering<br /> Familiarity with CAD software e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Artios CAD<br /> Basic understanding of packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, corrugate, etc.)<br /> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br /> Good communication and teamwork abilities Key job functions / Highlights of Job Description:  Create detailed CAD drawings based on engineering specifications, sketches, and input from engineers.<br /> Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements.<br /> Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.<br /> Maintain drawing standards and documentation in accordance with company and industry guidelines.<br /> Perform tolerance analysis and basic calculations to support design decisions.<br /> Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, and part details for manufacturing.<br /> Manage and organize CAD files.<br /> Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.<br /> Assist in the design and development of packaging for existing products.<br /> Conduct packaging performance testing (e.g., drop, vibration, compression).<br /> Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Quality, and Supply Chain.<br /> Support packaging documentation, specifications, and standard operating procedures.<br /> Evaluate packaging materials and suppliers for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.<h3>experience</h3>3
