- Performs the acquisition, processing, integration, and cleaning of more complex data from multiple sources, enhancing the organization's ability to make strategic decisions through improved data quality and accessibility
- Builds and refines advanced AI, data science, and statistical models independently. Contributes significantly to the development and efficiency of the modelling process and integrates into appropriate datasets to bring value to key stakeholders (including customers)
- Performs complex data investigations and performs analysis, identifying trends and variances that support the organization’s strategic initiatives. Uses advanced statistics, machine learning-based, or other methods to support this work. This includes managing data mining, validation, and reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency in data reports. Processes developed will be scalable to be used in a standardized manner for multiple uses --- indeed, this requires programming/scripting ability.
- Delivers business intelligence projects, providing critical support within assigned areas to better align with organizational strategies. Leads the implementation of new analytics tools and techniques within assigned area
- Enhances internal relationships by facilitating the presentation of complex data insights and developing advanced visual aids such as charts and graphs, which illustrate business, operations, customer and economic performance trends and support decision-making processes
- Continuously develops and shares knowledge of emerging trends and changes in data analytics, supporting and promoting change management and departmental initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility. Researches more complex data-driven insights that can significantly improve customer experiences
- Implements the modernization and automation of data science algorithms and/or data pipelines, educates junior colleagues on (new) reporting solutions and improvement proposals that increase the quality and uniformity of data driven solutions
- Independently contributes to the development of data science, and machine learning processing pipelines to ensure that data is continuously updated and maintained for use by stakeholders. Continuous monitoring and testing is performed to ensure proper functionality.
