5.Position Overview:
You will monitor diversified aspects of construction project management. This will include planning, coordination and supervision of on-site activities. You will ensure all aspects of the project align with engineering and design specifications, industry standards and construction regulations.
6.Key Responsibilities:
1. Reports internally to Project Managers and assists the Project Manager in meetings client objectives.
2. Able to read drawings and finding shortcomings, if any, and escalate to the consultant till resolution.
3. Implement site HSSE policy and prepare JSA (Job Safety Analysis). Fully aware of PTW (Permit to Work) System. Where safety standards are not compliant by subcontractor, takes strong measures to achieve compliance.
4. Execute the works meeting quality, safety, budget in line with contract document, specification, drawings etc.
5. Co-ordinate with subcontractors and consultant and other shareholders before and during construction.
6. Organises and participates in site meetings, reviews inspection schedule, completes inspection checklists, HSSE checklist and witnesses commissioning testing of systems along with consultant/client.
7. Prepare construction schedules, monitors and reports on the progress of work to the Project Manager/Consultant etc.
8. Collates and forwards data to Planning Engineer as and when required. Prepare, Daily, Weekly, monthly reports on time, cost and HSSE for the Project Manager.
9. Participates in pre-commissioning activities and prepare defects list along with consultant/client and attend the defects in timely manner.
10. Responsible for scrutinizing subcontractor bills and forwarding to CO for payment.
11. Responsible for keeping joint record, additional works, variations of quantity etc and sending signed document to CO Finance for billing/invoicing.
12. Follow up of payment with consultant and client till its realisation.
13. Prepare handover document including “as built” drawings and essential services information for the project managers to get the certificate of practical completion from consultant/client.
14. Undertakes regular and planned training modules required by GEMS competency program. The program will included safety management, construction quality, scheduling and control etc.7.Qualifications and Requirements:
• BE / Diploma with 3 to 5 years site execution
9.Competency Requirements:
• 3-5 yrs experience working in projects preferably, Retail Civil & MEP, industrial or oil & Gas industry projects etc.
