Responsibiities :
- The project manager should be a degree holder (preferably an engineering degree) with 5 to 7 years’ experience in a project department of any established organisation involved in building products.
- His involvement starts immediately after the order is received from the customer.
- As project manager he has to plan and coordinate all projects in his area from inception to completion of the project.
- He should have good administrative skill to manage the project team (consisting of supervisors, design engineers and installers) and good inter- personal skill to co-ordinate with the clients and develop an amicable business relationship with them during the entire project execution period.
- He will be directing the project supervisors and installation team periodically and ensure that the project is executed as per plan and there is not any wastage, and no cost or time over run. He should also be capable of solving any issues that may arise during the project execution.
- All supervisors in the region and design engineer will be reporting to him.
- He should have good administrative skill, pleasing personality and represent the company in various site meeting and for co-ordination with client representatives at the site.
- He is responsible for timely completion of the project and also report periodically to management on the progress in written format.
- This position is middle management cadre and will be reporting directly to top management.
