Position : Project ManagerJob location : Chennai Responsibilities : * In co-operation with the external project manager, the internal project manager is responsible for planning, preparation and coordination of primarily technical projects for gearboxes and drive train systems for wind turbines from the specification sheet to series release.* Compliance with the defined standards for project management (PM) and the development process, from the start of a project to the handover to the responsible department for series production support.* Together with the project manager, is responsible for achieving the project milestones and technical objectives.* Management and coordination in consultation with the project manager of the employees temporarily assigned to the project.* This includes regular communication, cooperation and coordination with the departments involved.* Supports the project manager in clarifying customer requirements and specifications during the product development project.* Carries out regular coordination with suppliers and service providers in consultation with the project manager.* Identification of difficulties that arise and initiation of remedial measures, some of which are predefined.* Ensure compliance with specified development goals.* Assessing constructive (interim) results, initiating further developments.* Creating and checking schedules and cost plans, setting priorities, defining interfaces.* Carry out target/actual comparisons of the above-mentioned plans and, if necessary, draw up and implement partially specified corrective measures.* Restricted Creation, coordination and control together with the relevant specialist departments of the proper documentation of the project results, the test results and the operating instructions including the declaration of incorporation.* Temporarily deputizing for the project manager at internal and external project meetings within the scope of his powers.* Partial implementation of smaller projects (ETO small, technology), sub-projects and work packages within the project in consultation with the project manager.* Management of internal development and validation projects under the guidance of the external project manager.* Providing technical instruction, guidance and support to project team members.
