    The Logistics Analyst combines operational support with analytical responsibilities to enhance service performance and optimize processes.

    § Uses logistics knowledge, technical expertise and operations experience to assist in correcting process or equipment issues which improve process performance and reliability for one or multiple transportation modes. In addition, this role works with key partners to optimize operations on a regular basis. Depending on the role, the candidate will need to provide specific modal expertise (Bulk Marine, Road, Rail, Warehousing, Terminals). The role also entails tracking metrics, other tactical assistance, and project work process support within their area of expertise.In this role, you will require conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures as well as having general business knowledge developed through education or prior experience related to your discipline and functional area. You will need to have the ability to exchange straightforward information with others and ask questions to check for understanding. It is your responsibility to use established procedures and practice to analyze and resolve standard problems. You will be accountable for assigned contributions with no direct supervisory responsibilities. Your performance impacts your own work with limited impact on your team.     Utilizes logistics knowledge, technical expertise and operations experience to assist in correcting process or equipment issues which improve process performance and reliability. This role is also about data analysis and optimization to support performance tracking and continuous improvement.
    Works with technical advising and logistics operations personnel to create methods to optimize operations
    Participates in advanced troubleshooting and coach others to learn these skills. Implement best practices
    Interacts with other Dow regions to resolve order issues for inter-area shipments and ensures Most Effective Technology and specific operating discipline requirements are in place
    Data Analysis & Optimization

    Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    Prepare performance reports and dashboards for management.

    Supports and assists with QN investigation and identification of corrective and preventative measures
    Carrier Performance Management
    § Analyse Carrier performance KPI data and highlight trends and propose areas for improvement
    § Help the Carrier focal point to assemble the data package needed to performance a carrier performance management meeting
    § Auditing and approving accessorial cost invoices
    § Translate raw logistics data into actionable analytical datasets to support carrier management and continuous improvement initiatives.
    § Maintain and update operational dashboards, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
    Follow-up on QNs for return shipments and arrange transportation, freight rate agreement and COPQ tracking.
    Administers trade lane contracts where needed to maximize benefits to Dow

    Qualifications Required : Education: University Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or other Sciences
