Job DescriptionPosition Title: Supply Chain Executive<br />Experience : 3 – 5 yearsRole Purpose<br />The Supply Chain Executive will coordinate, organize, and oversee all activities<br />involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of goods. The<br />role requires strong leadership, supplier management, and analytical skills to ensure<br />efficiency, profitability, and harmony across the supply chain.<br />Supervisory Responsibilities<br /> Oversee daily workflow and schedules of the department.<br /> Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.<br /> Execute plan vs. actual deliveries in coordination with suppliers and project<br />teams.<br />Key Responsibilities<br /> Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain<br />resources for effective supply chain operations.<br /> Establish performance metrics for evaluating supply chain efficiency.<br /> Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies across<br />company sites and factories.<br /> Ensure optimal supply levels to support production.<br /> Analyze current inventories and procedures; recommend improvements for<br />efficiency and profitability.<br /> Develop and implement policies to enhance supply chain efficiency while<br />ensuring quality and safety.<br /> Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes, focusing on consolidation<br />of warehousing and distribution.<br /> Assess material-handling equipment and staffing needs; recommend<br />improvements for efficient operations. Participate in product development committees, providing input on material<br />availability and costs.<br /> Coordinate engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product<br />launches to ensure smooth transitions.<br /> Monitor supplier performance, ensuring quality and delivery standards are<br />met.<br /> Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.<br /> Perform other related duties as assigned.<br />Required Skills & Abilities<br /> Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br /> Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven vendor and supplier<br />relationship management.<br /> Strong supervisory and leadership skills.<br /> Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br /> Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.<br /> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br /> Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.<br />Education & Experience<br /> Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.<br /> Minimum 3 years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar role.<br /> Knowledge of steel fabrication and transportation of fabricated items.<br /> Expertise in different types of steel and their applications.<br />Physical Requirements<br /> Agility to frequently visit manufacturing premises and sites to maintain<h3>experience</h3>9
