Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Manage and oversee the sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Lead and manage multi-channel sales operations, including General Trade (distributors, stockists, standalone stores), Modern Trade (key accounts, large format stores), E-commerce platforms (marketplaces and D2C), and retail expansion.
- Build, mentor, and drive the performance of the sales team across regions.
- Strengthen the distribution network and ensure market penetration across geographies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Drive category growth through effective positioning and execution.
- Collaborate with marketing for product launches, promotions, and brand-building initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify new opportunities.
- Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and P&L accountability.
- Ensure effective execution of trade schemes, visibility, and in-store activations.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in sales, preferably in nutraceuticals, FMCG, or the health & wellness industry.
- Proven experience in handling health drinks, hydration beverages, or similar categories.
- Strong exposure to General Trade, Modern Trade, and E-commerce channels.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large, multi-regional sales teams.
- Strong understanding of distribution management and retail expansion strategies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
