RoleRole & Responsibilities
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing and motivating a high-performing sales team, and building strong relationships with key clients. You will leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the overall success of the company. You will work closely with marketing and BTL teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Main tasks include
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support.
- Establish and maintain a robust distribution network.
- Set and monitor individual and team sales targets, identifying areas for improvement.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and BTL teams to create effective sales strategies.
- Report regularly to senior management on sales performance and market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities, aligned with company objectives.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
- Valid driver's license for market visits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
