As we deploy Workday as our global ERP, you will take a prominent leadership role within the GPO team across the Record-to-Report (R2R), Source-to-Pay (S2P), and Lead-to-Cash (L2C) workstreams. This position requires a hands-on Subject Matter Expert with deep functional F&A knowledge, including robust expertise in IFRS and understanding of global consolidations, who can effectively bridge the gap between regional markets and global strategy.
Job Description:
● Lead, drive and scale the transition of R2R, S2P and L2C tasks and processes related to the Workday financials implementation from our global markets into the GCC.
● Oversee the end-to-end record to report (R2R) function within the GCC as it relates to Workday, ensuring compliance with global standards, strict internal controls, and corporate policies.
● Direct complex IFRS corporate accounting activities and manage flawless financial submissions into Tagetik for global consolidation for the Workday implemented countries.
● Act as the Global Process Owner (GPO) from the GCC perspective for our Workday Financials implementation.
● Partner with local markets to drive understanding of those markets and ensure successful implementation of Workday and transition of associated tasks and processes to the GCC.
● Standardize, optimize, and document R2R, S2P and L2C processes to ensure maximum efficiency and alignment with the new Workday environment.
● Partner with global finance leaders, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure business requirements are met during the Workday rollout.

Reporting to:
● Head of Finance Capability Center
Shift Timings:
● 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm IST (8:00 am to 5:00 pm CET)
● Flexibility of shift timing will be required based country roll-out plans for the Workday implementation
To be successful in this role, you should have
● Transformational Leadership: You must possess the ability to lead a team through a period of significant technological and process change without allowing day-to-day operations in the markets or month-end close quality to slip through the Workday implementation.
● Strategic Process Vision: As a Global Process Owner for the GCC from the Workday financials perspective, you need the foresight to look beyond "how things are done today" and design scalable, future-proof, and globally standardized Finance & Accounting workflows.
● Cross-Cultural Influence: You will be supporting and collaborating with global markets; the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and manage stakeholders across different time zones and cultures is critical.
● Problem-Solving Agility: Implementing a global ERP like Workday requires a proactive approach to roadblocks, system limitations, and conflicting regional requirements.
● Talent Development: You must be passionate about building a high-performing culture within the GCC, mentoring teams, and elevating them from transactional work to strategic business partners.
● Focus on the Role: This role requires bringing in Individual Subject Matter Expertise and capability in the F&A domain along with providing directional support in line with Workday Implementation.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience leading a complex accounting or R2R function for a multinational or global organization.
● Experience or in depth knowledge of R2R, S2P and L2C functional areas.
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
● Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is strongly preferred.
● Deep, practical expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
● Proven track record of leading accounting operations within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or Shared Services environment.

● Strong familiarity with global financial consolidation tools, specifically Tagetik or similar enterprise solutions.
