<p> </p><p>Senior Specialist – Payroll & Payroll Tax</p><p> </p><p>Responsibilities: </p><ul><li><p>Performs assigned payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely payment of domestic associates </p></li><li><p>Ensure that payroll activity is properly recorded in the General ledger and assists in research and analysis on reconciling items</p></li><li><p>Work with third party providers to ensure payroll tax compliance for both the company and associates</p></li><li><p>Utilize resources to identify issues, solve problems, and implement solutions with little to no supervision</p></li><li><p>Solve and escalate issues to management in a simple and actionable format.</p></li><li><p>Performs complex data mining, analytics, and query creation </p></li><li><p>Perform root cause analysis and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs</p></li><li><p>Work cross-functionally to resolve issues including across other areas of the company </p></li><li><p>Identifies and solves issues with limited/ambiguous parameters</p></li></ul><p> </p> <p>Core Competencies & Accomplishments:  </p><ul><li><p>Productive in use of company’s resources, strong work ethic.</p></li><li><p>Takes initiative in recommending and implementing consistent improvements to controls and efficiency. </p></li><li><p>Interacts with others in a positive and inclusive manner. </p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of accounting procedures and systems (Oracle, Cadency, ReconNET, etc.) pertaining to area of responsibility. </p></li><li><p>Cross-functional enterprise understanding and the ability to lead cross-functional projects. </p></li><li><p>Analytical and decision-making skills. </p></li><li><p>Advanced user of Microsoft Office Tools.</p></li></ul> <p>Experience/Education:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred. </p></li><li><p>Certificate on US Payroll – Would be added advantage </p></li><li><p>Certificate on Lean and Six Sigma – Would be added advantage </p></li><li><p>4- 6 years’ experience in roles with increasing responsibility AND analytical decision making</p></li></ul><h3>experience</h3>6
