    The aim of the Service Engineer is to provide with service and technical support to the customers. Develop and maintain regular contacts with customers for long time agreement at all levels. Implement the service plan to increase the customer satisfaction.

    · Resolve issues of the specified territory and also be carry out day to day functions of service related job

    · Ensure and meet the target response time

    · Provide customer training for better up time of the product

    · Co-ordinate with service sales team for proper execution of service plan

    · Guide/Assist service Engineers to perform duties effectively

    · Mange the key accounts directly and ensures customer satisfaction

    · Arrange for customer presentations to improve product life cycle

    · Co-ordinate with Project & Sales team for installation of machines allocated to service

    · Analyze the problems and guide the team accordingly

    · Ensure “Safety Health and Environment” compliance at on site workshop

    · Find out the red-flags and analyze the root cause for failures

    · Provide support to the aftermarket sales team in lead generations for AMCs and Spare parts

    · To handle and administer various different techniques of service processes with regard to IMS

    · On site knowledge of Handheld, Fixture spindle, pneumatic, software product, QAT  tools and accessories 

     

    Experience:

    2-3 years of experience in Service and Maintenance in Motor vehicle or other industries. 

    Experience in servicing or maintenance of tools will be an added advantage. 

    Knowledge and skill to repair and install equipment on site.

    Required PLC knowledge with automation field is must

    Experience in handling DC tool will be added advantage.

Our innovative designs<br />and reliable products have made Genie a world leader in the production of material lifts, portable aerial work<br />platforms, scissor lifts, and self-propelled telescopic and articulated booms.<br />Position Overview:<br />Reporting to the General Manager, this position is a key role in developing then executing our strategies with<br />responsibility for sourcing components from India. The sourcing focus is in our Genie Aerial work platform<br />products. We want you to utilize our global leverage to regionally achieve the best value in cost, quality, reliability,<br />service, and support. This role will co-ordinate cross functional relationships, including product development/<br />engineering, materials management, local purchasing, operations, finance and aftermarket.Responsibilities:<br />This Position shall:<br /> Manage supplier readiness to execute the with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Production<br />Part Approval Process (PPAP) for Metals Categories like Fabrication – Steel & Aluminium, Plastics,<br />Fasteners and Support Castings, forgings, Springs, Small Machined Parts.<br /> Qualify Suppliers to the welding code through surveys, assessments, sample creation, and<br />destructive testing.<br /> Coach suppliers using effective problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Why’s, fishbone) to ensure root<br />causes are accurately identified and effective preventive measures are implemented<br /> Conduct on-site manufacturing technical assessments and quality system assessments at domestic and<br />international supplier locations.<br /> Accurately assess supplier capabilities to ensure compliance to drawings and specifications will be<br />met reliably in production.<br /> Perform detailed drawing reviews for accuracy and design-for-manufacturability risks; initiate and<br />recommend engineering changes, as necessary.<br /> Develop the supply chain: create and execute custom-tailored quality improvement plans based on<br />supplier performance data and the maturity of their quality management systems.
