Specific Responsibilities
- Oversee and review the timely and accurate preparation of statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting (as per International Financial Services Centres Authority ("IFSCA") directives) for IFSC Branch
- Support management in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulatory authorities;
- Manage continuous improvement initiatives of financial and regulatory reports, including retention of supporting documentation, and where necessary remediation;
- Any other ad-hoc assignments and projects
Requirements:
- ACAC, CA, CPA Qualified and/or relevant professional qualifications
- 6-8 years' relevant work experience with an insurer, preferably in the reinsurance industry
- Sound technical competencies of IFRS and of insurance accounting principles
- Strong knowledge and experience in reporting under IFSCA or Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority regulatory reporting experience in a (re)insurance company in India would be advantageous
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Working proficiency in English
- Experience working with GL systems is desirable
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, attention to detail and a good team player
