Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain efficiency? We are looking for a dedicated Stores Officer to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will play a critical part in the seamless operation of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring that our project-related materials are managed, stored, and issued with the highest level of accuracy.
Responsibilities:- Ensure the timely receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of various project-related spares in a cost-effective manner.
- Maintain comprehensive store records, including inward and outward material registers, returnable registers, and non-returnable registers.
- Implement systematic arrangement and storage protocols for all inventory items to maximize space and accessibility.
- Manage store inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is maintained at all times to avoid operational disruptions.
- Proactively follow up with vendors regarding pending materials.
- Verify and process bills for transporters and contractors before submitting them to accounts for payment.
- Prepare detailed reports on pending and open purchase orders (POs).
- Maintain accurate records of material issuance and receipts, while coordinating with the purchasing and planning departments for the procurement of indented materials.
- Education: Commerce Graduate, Diploma Engineer, or Post Graduate. A Diploma in Materials Management from a reputed institute is considered an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of experience working in stores within a manufacturing process industry, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Technical Skills: Thorough, hands-on exposure to working in an SAP MM environment.
- Age Requirement: Due to the nature of this {{}} role, the age limit is up to 32 years.
