Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) and Water Treatment Plants (WTP) to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of treatment equipment, pumps, valves, and filtration systems.
- Conduct regular water quality testing and maintain accurate logs of operational data and chemical usage.
- Identify and resolve technical malfunctions or process deviations promptly to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to execute preventive maintenance schedules for all utility machinery.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while handling chemicals and operating high-pressure equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment facility and surrounding areas.
- Educational background: Diploma in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in operating STP/WTP systems.
- Technical proficiency: Strong understanding of water treatment processes, chemical dosing, and mechanical operations.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform basic troubleshooting efficiently.
- Compliance-oriented: Committed to following industrial safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment and adhere to assigned shift schedules.
