Job Description
* Four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and with eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required.
* Ability to communicate effectively that includes but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
* Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
* Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
* Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Basic Job Requirements
* Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards for US and European regions, commercial availability, and cost of materials
* Advanced knowledge of performing hand and computer calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures (structural)
* Analyzing complex structures
* Wind and seismic loading in structural calculations (structural)
* Computer modeling and analysis (structural)
* Procurement and construction aspects of engineering
* Vendor drawing review, intergroup review - squad checking
* Checking design calculations and Drawings
* Connections designs and fabrication drawing checking
* Practical field experience and Intermediate computer and software skills
* Knowledge of working in Prefeed, FEED & Detail Engineering projects
* Managing and leading a small team/ Area lead on a bigger project
* Knowledge of Dynamic analysis and design (structural) will be an added advantage
