Job Title - Supplier Quality ManagerLocation - MaladIndustry - Chemical or Speciality Chemical Key Responsibilities (State the primary duties and tasks of the position) Supplier Qualification & Evaluation • Evaluate and qualify new suppliers of raw materials, solvents, intermediates, catalysts, and packaging including toll producer / contract manufacturer.• Perform pre-assessment audits and risk assessments based on technical specifications, REACH, and regulatory needs.• Review technical dossiers, MSDS, TDS, CoAs, MoA and compliance documents for synergy and alignment with Supplier quality protocol. •Conduct supplier audits focusing on production, QC, HSE, ESG and documentation controls as per standard Assessment template.• Ensure suppliers comply with internal standards and regulatory norms like BIS, FDA, EU/US chemical regulations.• Signing of Supplier Quality Service Agreement to avoid any ambiguity Incoming Material Quality Management • Collaborate with QC, R&D, ESG, and plant teams to define incoming inspection plans for high-risk chemicals and specialty additives.• Manage non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and implement preventive controls (CAPA).• Closure of NCR in timely manner, and tracking the improvement plans to avoid repetition of similar issues.• Identify and resolve quality issues with incoming materials and components, working with Confidential Job Description Page 2 suppliers and cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
